You amaze me sweetheart! I know this isn’t easy, well, it’s actually very difficult, but I know you and I know you can make it. Remember, “How do you eat an elephant?” the same is true with this job. One day at a time, if that’s too difficult to ponder, think one break at a time, always remember you are in control of you, if you want to leave, you are the one who decides if you do, you can do whatever you feel is right. Know that I’m not only here to support you in that, I’m here encouraging you to do exactly that! If you feel that it’s right I trust and support you above all. you do what you need to. I love you, always, I like you, always, and I am not disappointed in you at all.
You are a power to be reckoned with in the child care world, I’ve seen your passion while learning about children and I’ve seen the plans in your heart to raise and care for them the best anyone ever has.
You were thrown into this position right after becoming married (to me!) and moving to at city you didn’t known, to start right away, with more than full-time hours, in a corporate environment that makes it difficult to provide standard childcare, let alone the amazing childcare you are capable of, with no training, and no time to do the tasks you must to correct the environment the children have been trained in… but, what amazes me about you is that I hear a complaint about some things, but everyday the stress I see in you is concern for the kids, not yourself. You are feeling the stress inside yourself, but that’s not the cause, every complaint or concern is rooted in your inability to make the environment right for the kids. You may not always see it that way, but I sure do. You are so concerned that you can’t do things the right way for the kids that you feel overwhelmed and stressed and tired. You want to do more that what this job allows, and although it’s fairly indirect, that fact is exactly what makes you dislike this job so much.
More to come, we shall talk about this… you amaze me, in every way! I love you!!
