Happy Birthday US!!!!
Today marks that very special day 8 years after we said “Yes” to each other. 8 YEARS! That is amazing.
Some one once said “do not regret getting older. it is a privilege denied to many.” That being say, I feel so blessed to be here, living with you 8 years after we decided to ‘give it a go’ That fact that we’ve seen so many other relationships Start, with birthday-like excitement and soon fizzle out or fall with a thud goes to show me how much we actually do mean to each other. How much we have worked to make this last. How much we have sacrificed to keep the other person in the forefront, let them feel special, show them how much they mean to us.
We are awesome! (I don’t mean to toot our own horn, but “Honk Honk!”)
Actually YOU are awesome. without you none of this would be. “We” would not exist. “I” would not be half the man I am today. Thank You, Kara. Thank you for always being there for me, for always encouraging me, for helping me grow and become who I am, for pushing me to try new things, to worry less, to love more, to be all that you know I can be. Thank you.
