I am so proud of you and the way you have, and continue to, transition into motherhood. You are doing so well!
I’m sorry I’ll be out a bit more today, I promise to return and support you in every way possible. I love and I appreciate your support and flexibility more than you know!
You amaze me everyday and I challenge myself to attempt to do the same for you.

Happy first birthday as a mother!

I am so proud of you! And so excited for this upcoming year! You are amazing! 

Exactly one week ago we welcomed little Arlo into our lives, thanks to your powerful and intense sacrifice. Since then this past week has been a blur with first times and new adjustments, and they have all been so wonderful.  I am most excited that all of that is going to continue for the next year and beyond, this year of your life is going to be amazing. 

I know we have a lot on our plate right now, and I know you deserve so much on your birthday. I am going to do my best to show you that today.

You did such an amazing job yesterday, I can hardly believe you did all the things you did with such minimal complaints. You gave it everything you could, and more! And at the end of the day we have exactly what we wanted, a healthy baby boy and healthy momma.
You are absolutely astonishing and I am so very excited to begin this journey with you!

We can see the start line

We are so close to the finish line of pregnancy and just as close to the starting line of parenting. I am so proud of the way you are making your way through this transition. It may not always be easy, but it is so very exciting. You do not forfeit any of your values and you keep you highest priorities on top. I am so proud of you for that. I love you immensely and I am so excited to be able to embark on and continue this journey through life together with you. I love you so much baby. Thank you for being the amazing woman and mom that you are.

Bad Days

I really don’t like when bad days happen. I, even more so don’t like when I am at least at some part to blame. I am sorry for adding extra stain to your day. And I really hope I can work hard to make it better. I love you so much Kara and I pray that days like this remain few and far between. I am so excited about so much in our life and the fact that you are there with me through it all brings me so much joy!
